What a wonderful day for an adventure. Becca and I took my dogs Bart and Lisa on a car ride to the beach, followed by a hike through some muddy trails, and then a trip to Burger King to visit my co-workers and get the dogs some french fries. Afterwards we went home and gave them a good bath, and now the are taking a much needed nap at the foot of my bed. Oh what a fantastic Sunday afternoon. <3

Strawberry Nails

1 Paint your nails red!
2 After the base coat is dry cut ten strips of tape using your pinking sheers. Firmly apply one piece per nail.
3 Apply the green polish on the area you left un-taped for the leaves.
4 Gently, and slowly pull of the tape. I find my nails turn out best if I take the tape off immediately after painting instead of waiting until my whole hand is done.
5 Using your nail art pen or a tooth pick and black nail polish randomly place polka dots on your nails
6 After everything is dry, add a top coat! My current favorite is Essie Good to Go, it dries so so so fast!

Yea so that last post about my promise, well forget about it. I got accepted to the Ohio State University at Newark and couldn’t be happier. Now I really can enjoy the rest of my senior year knowing where I’ll be. <3

Right now, I am going to make a promise to myself.

I promise to enjoy every second I can.

Because 14 weeks ago tomorrow, I applied to The Ohio State University, and they told me I may not know if I got accepted or not until mid-March. That will make it about 18 weeks since I applied in November. For a while now, it has bothered me and almost eaten me up inside. But after thinking, talking, and crying about it, I’ve decided that this will end up one of two ways: 1: I will get accepted into the college of my choice, OSU, and the wait will be worth it. or 2: I will not get accepted, and I will have to go to my second choice, UA. Either way, I will go to college next year, and will be faced with challenges I’ve never seen before. So from now until I know where I am going next year, I will enjoy every free second I can and not worry about this. Because no matter what, life will go on. And I owe it to myself, as well as the people around me, to relax. Keep calm, and carry on.

Hello friends and fellow bloggers,

I find myself hating songs the first time I hear them, and then after that I instantly love them. Why? I have no idea, because this isn’t always the case. I guess it really doesn’t matter if I end up liking the song eventually anyways, but it’s strange.
